September Stated Communication

We were visited by brethren from two different lodges, to include Dan Fouts, our Deputy Grand Master, District 27. Brother Andrew Hassler, sitting in the West, offered further light, providing insight and interpretation of our shared work: how the inclusion of a single comma may change the focus of a particular section of our work; and yet, the work remains wholly aligned with Masonic principles, thus allowing us to explore the deeper meanings of the Craft.

Active committees delivered reports, to include reports of positive progress on the Past Master portraits project, a report of the summer's activities from the High-T committee, progress on new Rods from the Properties committee, and the results of the IT committee's first meeting.

Our next stated meeting will take place at 7:30 (with public refreshment and fellowship at 6:30) on October 20th, at the Spokane Masonic Temple, 506 W 3rd Ave, Spokane, WA, 99209.

ABOUT US

Freemasonry is recognized as one of the oldest fraternities in the world. Although the exact origins of Freemasonry are not known, it is speculated that Freemasonry extends well beyond the formal establishment of England's Grand Lodge in 1717.

Presently, in the United States, there are approximately 13,200 lodges.
